Happy Mothers Day! Here's introducing you to my mom!

Happy Mothers day to all moms!
You are important and loved. And here is a big virtual hug from me to you in celebration!

It doesn't matter how you got to be a mom, what matters is the effort, time, passion and love put into the relationship and that you are there and you care.


The picture above is of my mom.
Her name is Mary.
She is a mother of two, married for over 30 years, and pet owner of many.
This picture was taken last year when we went to Orlando, Florida for a heart conference .... and to visit Universal. 
That was a great day!
The picture is inside Universal in Harry Potter World.  We decided to go for the at least one time experience.  And it did not disappoint.  That's butter beer in my moms hand. And it was delicious and fun.

Enough about Universal though, back on topic of my mom......

My mom is awesome!  And I feel sad that so many people I know can't or don't feel that way about their moms, but I do.
My mom is awesome for so many reasons.  The biggest is the unconditional love she gives.
I admire my mom for her dedication to family and home, creativity in problem solving and crafting, and her stubbornness (even when it drives me nuts). 
She has a passion to be a mom.
She's a family oriented person. Some people want to have their own lives. My mom has hobbies, but a lot of the time family is her life. It's what she is passionate about and loves to preoccupy her time with. It's not a job it's a lifestyle.
